A long-term partnership is in place with the Auzeville agricultural vocational school. The EU APC and the Cité des Sciences Vertes are pooling part of the field, which allows the pooling of certain research projects whose purpose is of educational interest.

Exchanges are organised around :

  • Agricultural equipment dedicated to microparcel experimentation and trials of cultivation practices,
  • Robotics and high-speed phenotyping tools,
  • Cropping systems for agro-ecological transition and practices for ecological intensification (multi-service intermediate crops, zero pesticide system, double cropping, crop combinations, etc.),
  • Experimental and phenotyping techniques (monitoring of the soil, plants, etc.).

As part of the same approach to sharing knowledge with future actors in the agricultural world, the Unit regularly invites students to participate in technical days (IPHARD link). In addition, it also participates in tutored projects organised in partnership between higher education institutions such as the University of Toulouse 3 Paul Sabatier and UE APC.

In addition, the Unit recruits trainees with a variety of disciplinary specialities each year to bring new knowledge in different fields (agronomy, communication, IT, etc.) to the team and is also involved in apprenticeships (e.g. ENSAT engineer over 3 years). Thus, it is not uncommon to come across students from different Universities, Engineering Schools or BTS in the corridors of the EU.
