Certifications and labelling

INRAE's Experimental Units and Facilities are engaged in a collective ISO 14001 environmental certification process, steered by the general management and the National Commission for Experimental Units on a daily basis, and supported by the Environmental Protection Unit from the Social and Environmental Responsibility, Health and Safety at Work Department, with the contribution of the support functions.

Particularly concerned with agroecological issues and sustainable development, the Auzeville Unité Expérimentale d'AgroEcologie et Phénotypage des Cultures (UE APC) of the INRAE Occitanie-Toulouse Research Centre has been ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 14001 "Environmental Management System" certified since 2015. This certification obtained collectively with a network of INRAE units was issued by a certifying body. This ISO 14001 standard corresponds to our desire to improve our environmental performance by going beyond regulatory requirements and implementing a continuous improvement approach. Committed to agronomic research with a finalised objective, UE APC wishes to go further in its certification commitment. Currently in compliance with the Institute's internal standard in terms of quality, UE APC is aiming for the ISO 9001 standard to improve its quality management system.

The Unit also complies with the INRAE Research Infrastructure Charter and is labelled as a Collective Scientific Infrastructure (CSI) of the Institute. SAIs are facilities of a very diverse nature that have undergone an internal labelling procedure.
